My dear daughter! Today is one of the greatest events in your life – your sweet sixteen birthday. You will remember it as the bright and happy day when you have all your friends beside you. Your friends and your family are the most precious things in life but you’ll understand this a little bit later (when you open your presents). Certainly, it is a joke, but nevertheless the presents are wonderful, you will like them.
My darling, I want you to shine with that beautiful smile every day! Your kind heart and carting attitude fill my heart with happiness. I’m grateful to my destiny for having such a wonderful daughter. I wish you to enjoy your life – every day of it, value people around you and strive for your aims achievement. Your family is proud of you, because we see your potential and we know that you can do anything you really want. But remember that “In between goals is a thing called life, that has to be lived and enjoyed”. I wish you to find the golden balance between studying and enjoying your life – both are extremely important.
I hope you’ll find your way, because to say the truth, “Smartness runs in my family. When I went to school I was so smart my teacher was in my class for five years”. When I was preparing for exam I knew that 80% of the final exam will be based on the one lecture I missed and the one book I didn’t read. That’s why I always visited that one lecture and read that one book. But I see that my daughter is much smarter: I don’t know her principles, but she studies well. Carry on! One more, if you think that your gift is pedagogy, I want to remind you that “there are three good reasons to be a teacher – June, July, and August”. Anyway, I’ll accept any choice of profession, because no one knows where one can find her vocation. Some wise man said, “Your talent is God’s gift to you. What you do with it is your gift back to God”. I hope you’ll realize your gift and return it back to God. Be that shiny and loving person you are now! Remember that you always have your family and friends to support you. Be happy and live your life!
